Africa Rising

For those of you who know me, it won’t come as a surprise that I have been dreaming of training leaders in Africa for many years. And today I can hardly contain my excitement as my friend and colleague, Lionel Young, is in Africa exploring opportunities for Global Action to begin training there in 2020. God is opening doors for us there in an unprecedented way. My dream is becoming reality!

We have so many stories that we will be sharing with you soon, but for now I want to ask for your prayer. We are meeting some absolutely incredible leaders throughout the continent, and the opportunities are immense. Please pray for Lionel as he travels to various locations and meets with many people to assess needs and opportunities. And pray for our leadership team as we seek God’s direction about where we should begin.

I also want to ask for your help. Hundreds of African pastors are asking for us to come and train them for the work of ministry, but we can’t go without the generosity of our partners. Right now is the perfect time to become a monthly partner and help us train more pastors in places like Africa. From now until January 1st, a generous supporter has pledged to donate an additional $500 for every person who signs up as a new monthly donor. Would you pray about how God might be prompting you to help train leaders in hard places?
