Africa Rising

Global Action now has a staff member in Africa! Her name is Buhe Pilime, pictured below, and she is working hard behind the scenes to get things ready for us to expand to the vast continent she calls home.

Buhe was born in Zimbabwe and studied theology in York where she worked alongside church leadership. She is passionate about God’s Kingdom, she is highly organized, and she believes with all her heart in the mission of Global Action. She is also helping organize our very first Global Action Tour to be held in London and Cambridge in 2020! She knows her way around the world!

It is a joy to work with dedicated staff members like Buhe Pilime, along with the many non-Western leaders in our organization we are featuring this month. We believe one of the great strengths of Global Action is our commitment to work in partnership with the non-Western church.

As we move forward into our third decade of ministry, we are excited about inviting even more leaders to join us from Africa, Latin America, and Asia. We believe in “the whole church taking the whole gospel to the whole world” (Lausanne Covenant, 1974).
