Investment in Africa: An Invitation

Did you know that approximately 50,000 new believers are coming to Christ every single day on the African continent alone? 

At its current rate of growth, an estimated 150,000 new trained church leaders will be needed over the next five years in Africa to help shepherd these rapidly expanding churches. The need is urgent. 

Mission leaders from around the world recently issued the following call in the 2024 Lausanne Movement’s “State of the Great Commission” Report: 

“We, therefore, invite you, as the global church, to respond with urgency and innovative collective action to advance the Great Commission by encouraging and inspiring the African church. You, as the global church, can form an intimate harmony with the church in Africa to reach people within Africa, and then together with the African church, reach people in wider regions globally,” (“State of the Great Commission,” 413).

By supporting Global Action, that is exactly what you are doing. You are helping equip and mobilize African church leaders, like the ones featured below. Together, we are helping lay a strong foundation for the rapidly growing African church. That is an investment that will bear eternal fruit.
