Thank You, Minnesota!

I’ve been in the beautiful North Star state with men and women who love golf—and who are passionate about the work we do at Global Action. The numbers aren’t all in, but Barry Fluth and his team estimate that they raised about $40,000 to help Global Action equip leaders who are transforming their communities! Just wow! We are so very, very thankful for the generosity of the people of Minnesota and their ongoing passion for this work.
I’ve been able to spend some person time with Barry Fluth over the last couple of days. He’s one of our board members—and I would describe as a person of grit and grace. He never gives up. Never! And his life is overflowing with the grace of God. He’s been raising money to help leaders in our program serve the children of Ukraine for more than 20 years now. And he just keeps going. Pandemic or no pandemic—he is an unstoppable force for good in the kingdom of God.
We announced at the golf event our plans to continue our Good Samaritan campaign. Funds will be going directly to regions like Ukraine, India, Zimbabwe, Cuba, Costa Rica, and Guatemala to provide emergency care for people living through COVID19. If you have given—thank you. You may also want to check out our recent video that takes you inside a Roma Village in Eastern Ukraine, where our leaders are serving children and families at risk during COVID19.
